Anantnag by-surveys: Schools set burning in Pulwama, Shopian; PDP looks for delay

Srinagar: In an offer to block the up and coming Anantnag by-surveys, frauds on Monday set the administration schools assigned as surveying stalls ablaze.

In the mean time, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has encouraged the Election Commission to put off the by-surveys in Anantnag.

"April twelfth by-surveys in Anantnag ought to be deferred," said Tasaduq Mufti, the sibling of Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti.

In the interim, security stays tight and the Valley has been transformed into a stronghold.

Stalls have been given most extreme security, with many troopers conveyed at universities and schools where voting will be held.

Taking after the heightening of brutality on Sunday, Internet administrations have suspended in whole Kashmir Valley till Anantnag by-surveys on April 12.

Aside from this, all Kashmir University exams planned to be held-up to the Anatanag by-surveys have been put off.
